Location: Onsite in Rhode IslandRole Overview: As a Manufacturing Services Associate I, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth handling and processing of materials in a clean room environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
Material Handling: Move materials between areas, clean raw materials, retrieve and store inventory, and operate electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers.Clean Room Procedures: Follow gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements essential for pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or other controlled settings.Physical Activity: Engage in physical movement 50% of the time, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 48 lbs (50 lbs max). Most movement will involve manual or electric material handling equipment.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
Safety glassesSteel-toe shoesScrubs and gowningKey Responsibilities:
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.Ensure quality compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing.Feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities.Document activities accurately in accordance with GMPs and GDPs.Understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and participate in daily performance meetings.Use pallet jacks and manually wrap pallets.Utilize computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch records.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation.Qualifications:
Prior industry experience, especially in clean room environments, is preferred.Familiarity with gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements.Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training systems (no specialized software knowledge required).Forklift certification is a plus but not required.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
