Manufacturing Production Control Planner - MRP

The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of production activities on the shop floor by creating, monitoring, and adjusting the production schedule in line with demand and capacity constraints. Responsibilities • Ensure timely execution of production activities on the shop floor by creating, monitoring, and adjusting production schedules • Prepare production schedules, establish sequence and lead time for each operation to meet completion dates • Manage new orders, revise pick, ship, and due dates based on production meetings • Raise work orders, communicate with production, workshops, buyers, and machine shops to ensure the necessary work is completed • Identify and prioritize key orders, follow up with buyers and planners daily • Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items • Perform other tasks as requested by the planning supervisor, manager, or manufacturing manager Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations Management) • 7-10 years of experience in production planning or a related role • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Experience with MRP systems and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles • Ability to manage multi-level bill of materials (BOM) with multiple detail part numbers • Experience creating work orders, routings, and prioritizing workflow on the shop floor • Proficiency in leading daily cycle counts of inventory and WIP to audit data integrity and accuracy • Capability to work with engineering to maintain revision changes and router accuracy Preferences • Proven track record of ensuring on-time delivery of products to customers • Expertise in training employees on the use of new material requirements planning (MRP) systems • Ability to coordinate with all departments to expedite production Join our team of experts and apply for the Manufacturing Production Scheduler/Planner role at Weatherford today.
