Noblis is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing of complex Navy communications systems in a job shop environment. Our ideal candidate has successfully led change within an established production facility of a similar scale and level of complexity and is ready to take on a new challenge. The goal is an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. You will lead a team of 30+ skilled workers and report to the Network Integration Engineering Facility (NIEF) program manager.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage production schedule for on-time completionCommunicate with government customer and represent Noblis production team to internal and external stakeholdersLiaise with project managers and functional area managers to formulate objectives and understand requirementsOrganize workflow to meet specifications and deadlinesMonitor production to resolve issuesTake an active role in factory production planningIdentify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production scheduleEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standardsReport to upper management Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Must have a Secret clearanceA bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred, plus 8 years of experience (OR Master's Degree + 6 years of experience)

 

Required Experience:

At least one year of experience in a production management/supervisor roleExperience leading people and teams in a manufacturing environmentProven experience manufacturing complex goods within a job shop or batch flow processExperience with lean methodologies and process improvement

 

Required Skills:

Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectivelyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflictsDemonstrated leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding cross-functional teamsProblem-solving mindset, able to adapt to changing priorities and make informed decisionsResults-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWritten communication and presentation skills Desired Qualifications

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Experience in skilled tradesCANES and ADNS operations and installation experienceExperience supporting the Department of Defense as a contractorExperience supporting design, analysis, manufacturing, installation, modification, repair, testing, and operation of Naval fleet electronic/communication equipment and systems Overview

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
