Focus: The Manufacturing Project Engineer – Epoxy Intermediates (B-23) is responsible for managing capital and expense projects including MOD Migration for B-23. In your role as a Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will lead a cross functional project team and stakeholders through the evaluation of alternatives and select the best options for Olin, as well as lead the project through engineering, authorization & construction. Activities may also include feasibility studies to help establish viable options for achieving site, business or corporate strategic objectives
Manufacturing Project Engineer - B23 Essential Job Functions: Responsible for managing the critical path of capital and expense projects for B23 including the MOD migration project. Develop and/or manage work process/business program plans through collaboration with internal and external partners Lead project planning and management from FEL 1 to implementation and startup Review code and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Perform budget, contingency, scope, issue and risk management tasks Monitor and control project/phase performance against plan. Develop, initiate, and manage project/phase execution Analyze equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies Manufacturing Project Engineer - B23 Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering 1+ years of manufacturing experience Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred. 1+ years of MOD code or Delta V experience preferred Proven skill and experience with risk and issue management Experience with managing vendor proposals and quotations, contractor bids and development of desired solutions for projects preferred Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal effectiveness and facilitation skills Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
