We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to take ownership of key initiatives within our fire truck manufacturing operations. This role is instrumental in driving projects that enhance production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and problem solver with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex timelines, and deliver exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
YOUR IMPACT:
Project Leadership: Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals.Strategic Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, deliverables, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessments.Team Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to achieve project milestones.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular updates to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project progress, risks, and issues.Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.Problem Solving: Address project challenges, proactively resolving conflicts and adapting plans to overcome obstacles.Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of experience.STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira).PMP or equivalent project management certification.Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related process improvement methodologies.Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) or ERP systems.Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.Passion for building high-quality, mission-critical products.WORKING CONDITIONS
Split time between office settings and the manufacturing floor, with exposure to machinery, noise, and dynamic production environments.Willingness to travel as needed for supplier coordination, site visits, or customer engagements.Flexibility to adjust schedules and hours to meet project demands.Pay Range:
$82,000.00 - $132,800.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
