Manufacturing & Quality Systems Development Engineer
Job Summary

Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing & Quality Systems Development Engineer based in Corvallis, OR.  As a Systems Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining our manufacturing execution system (MES) providing quality management applications that empower Inpria to continue to innovate groundbreaking technologies in today's competitive landscape. You will work closely through cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, process, equipment, controls engineers, and finance to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our team's needs and objectives.

Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and define software requirements for developing systematic manufacturing and quality related processes.  The result will be the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing process solutions. Ability to work, guide and develop projects for integrating other business process solutions/systems with existing manufacturing execution system (MES).  This includes working/guiding 3rd party integrators to architect, develop and implement successful business system integration. Digitalize processes to help with traceability, scalability and increase robustness. Work with multiple departments and stakeholders to define ideal ways to digitalize and automate workflows. Create efficient methods and tools to assist manufacturing, engineering, and quality to perform routine work tasks. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in the MES system while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Identify and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring data integrity and the delivery of reliable and bug-free applications. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas and insights to the team. Contribute to the documentation of software design, architecture, and user guides. Create training materials (procedures, instructions) for operational use processes. Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize projects and resources. Production is 7 days per week and occasionally developer support is required for evenings and/or weekend support. This position is full-time and requires individuals to be on site.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field 0-3 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on manufacturing applications. Experience in manufacturing or quality is a plus. Experience in SQL, JavaScript, HTML and JSON is desired. Knowledge and experience with relational databases, specifically SQL databases and writing SQL queries. Experience in software integration projects is a plus. Solid understanding and experience in designing data models and improving them. Knowledge and experience with RestAPI interfaces including JSON. Project management skills Budgeting experience is a plus.
