Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform tests and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. On a daily basis, you will carry out the work assigned to you in accordance with the agreed work procedures and ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and report any deviations. You will also demonstrate your expertise by performing tests or inspections according to procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.The working model for this position is: on-siteThis role contributes to the Motion Systemdrives in Untersiggenthal.Your main duties will include:Performing assigned work according to defined workflows and following procedures and safety guidelines.Performing physical pre-tests for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validation of manufacturing processes.Assisting the team in performing all required Factory Acceptance Tests.Perform shop floor operations in strict compliance with health and safety guidelines and report violations.

Qualifications for the role

At least five years of professional experience in an electrical engineering profession, ideally as an automation technician specializing in the medium-voltage sector.Sound knowledge of electrical engineering and completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering.Strong IT affinity and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies.Solution-oriented and cooperative way of working with a high degree of initiative.Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English.Willingness to work in 2-shift operation.
