MANUFACTURING SITE INITIATIVES LEADER

Coty is looking for a Manufacturing NPI Site Initiatives Leader join our team in Hunt Valley, Maryland.   This role will be responsible for the Delivery Execution of new product Innovation and Non-Innovation projects in the Hunt Valley plant.  In this role, you will collaborate with many key supply chain functions and be the interface between the factory team and the commercial team in New York, NY.

 

 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

Leading the new initiatives through the stage gate process to obtain agreed upon project timing, cost and quality to deliver in-market success Develops and owns the E2E Supply Chain readiness Critical Path Schedule for their Property Segments ensuring all necessary learning, qualification, commitment and execution plans are completed in support of a successful new product launch Facilitate regular project Delivery Meetings to review progress toward key CPS tasks & milestones adherence ensuring attendance from relevant project team members.  Publish meeting minutes & follow-ups Creates & leads resolution action plans for any supply chain issues identified during the delivery phase of a project Owns meeting ICW dates for Initiative projects, and delivering quantity requirements per ICW date Owns activating the Alert process (Yellow/Red) post Commit to drive business decisions around milestone recovery, technical or financial resolutions to ensure credibility of site and launch on time to goal measures Lead actions to assess and provide Cost and Feasibility input for new product initiatives; aligned with Operations prior to reviewing with Plant Manager FMEA (Failure/Mode/Effect/Analysis) Participant (Making & Fill/Press & Packing) Attend monthly Initiative Innovation Reviews with Plant Manager

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Essential:

 

3+ years of related business experience Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability Is autonomous, action oriented and pragmatic Is highly organized and can manage a wide portfolio of projects Demonstrates strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills to enable working across boundaries to deliver results Collaborative approach to problem solving and can lead multi-functional teams to outstanding collaborative solutions resulting in effective action plans Is results oriented and skilled in managing prioritization.  Able to adapt to new situations and adjust approach to meet objectives Strong project management skills to include initiating change, time management, problem solving, coordination and communication Has knowledge and proven experience in several or all of the following areas: Project Management, Coty 5D Gate Process, Team Leadership, Initiative Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning Systems/Tools, General Supply Chain Operations Knowledge in cosmetics manufacturing preferred Working knowledge of SAP  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
