As the Manufacturing Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing systems to improve production efficiency, quality assurance and cost-effectiveness from single test equipment to advanced production lines with a fully integrated Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

To maintain and develop our Manufacturing Execution System for both new products and enhancements for existing products to create high Automation and Digitalization. To maintain and develop software applications for test and traceability.  To analyze and lead continuous improvements for manufacturing systems.  To support activities for binding the Business System together with the Manufacturing Execution Systems. To develop software for controlling ex: test objects, test instruments, torque drivers, pick-to-light, vision systems, welding systems etc. To develop and implement automation solutions to reduce manual labor and increase capability.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, programming, data or a related field. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and digital automation systems and experience in software development, programming and Human Machine Interface development. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team effort environment.  Fluency in English & Swedish, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Ability to transform theoretical knowledge into the implementation of smart solutions.  Microsoft Visual Studio, C# (WPF/WinForms). Relational Databases / SQL / SQL Server.
