The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Our internships will give you first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with the day-to-day manufacturing operations, which may include monitoring equipment, overseeing processes, and ensuring production goals are met.Participating in quality control and quality assurance processes, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in manufacturing operations.Collecting and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality.Learning and applying principles of lean manufacturing to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity.Preparing reports, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintainedFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business related program.Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your countryBe fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skillsBe able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary)Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or temporary resident, and will not need employment sponsorship now or in the futureWork in a way that works for you

The internship duration is a 24 – weeks starting January 2025 – June 2025.
