THE WORK
As a key leader in our operations, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of the paint shop and production team. This role involves managing timekeeping in the SAP system, ensuring effective shift turnovers, and driving operational meetings. You'll play a crucial role in preparing work schedules, approving time-off requests, and managing overtime. Additionally, you will lead initiatives for continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be self-motivated, able to function autonomously, well-organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure; Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, team building and problem solving skills; Solid technical and customer interface skills required Additional Comments: Successful applicant must be willing to work off-shifts and overtime as required.
Previous experience in manufacturing
3+ years of relevant experience
Desired Skills:
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina
Familiarity with aerospace industry preferred.
Previous Sikorsky experience
Experience leading in a union environment

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
