Manufacturing Supervisor

We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our Aliso Viejo, CA team!

The Manufacturing Supervisor supervises the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Please note, this is a smaller facility, with 2 shifts. The Manufacturing Supervisor would be responsible for supporting both shifts.

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA

Salary: $75,000 - $87,000

Your Challenge:

Assign and supervise the work of production employees to meet all quality requirements and production schedules.

Review schedules and adjust workflow to meet schedule requirements and minimize downtime.

Enforce company policies, safety rules, and good housekeeping.

Taking appropriate corrective actions when necessary.

Evaluate performance of all employees and take corrective action when appropriate.

Interview applicants and make recommendations on the hiring of new employees.

Arrange for maintenance repairs of equipment and tools.

Overseeing 30 staff (permanent and temporary over 2 shifts).

What You Bring:

High school or equivalent, associate degree preferred

Bilingual (Spanish)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

2-4 years of supervisory experience including 1-2 years in manufacturing

Knowledge or experience with ISO9000, AS9100, or NADCAP would be an asset
