Job Summary:

This pivotal role of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Talent Director offers an exceptional opportunity for the ideal candidate to shape and cultivate the future talent within our Manufacturing, Supply Order to Delivery (MSOD) function. The role is an incubator for innovation and focuses on global talent at all levels, ensuring sustained growth and proactively building a robust talent pipeline for the future. The successful candidate will thrive in a matrixed environment, collaborating seamlessly with HR, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and business partners across the enterprise to develop and nurture talent for the MSOD function. Influencing without authority, strategic vision and intellectual curiosity are critical skills.

What you will do:

Providing global leadership to the overall talent lifecycle processes related to building and retaining the talent with the right skills to support a specific organization’s strategies.Assisting senior leadership in evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's talent practices, as well as recommending and leading improvement opportunities.Developing and implementing change management methods and materials to facilitate deployment of talent management programs and processesLeading team of talent management leaders to collaborate effectively with Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR; Developing talent management skills and capabilities across the function.

Degree Requirement:

Degree or equivalent experience desired

Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.Talent Transformation: Knowledge of the concept and strategies of talent transformation; ability to harness the potential and skills of employees to help them reach leadership positions while achieving the organization's strategic business objectives.

Summary Pay Range:

$165,960.00 - $248,880.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
