It’s a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummarySupport activities relating to the daily production and test environment of ZOLL Medical products, in an experienced level capacity.Essential Functions + Daily production support to build and repair various complex test fixtures and cables. + Troubleshoots manufacturing failures or conducts laboratory activities in support of root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions, in conjunction with yield improvement activities. + Assists with process development and improvement activities. Supports the implementation and validation of process and product documentation. + Develops and implements various tooling and fixtures to meet the needs of the Manufacturing department. + Supports and implements preventative maintenance and calibration programs. Required/Preferred Education and Experience + High School Requires a minimum of a high school degree with experience in electronics or a Vocational/Technical degree or equivalent. required + Should have a minimum of 3 years of direct floor support experience in an electro­ mechanical and electronics assembly and test environment including troubleshooting activities and the operation of automated production equipment. required + IPC Soldering Certification a plus. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Ability to work independently, with limited supervision. + Ability to build and rework complex PCB assemblies with surface mount and through-hole components. + Ability to build and rework complex cables and test fixtures using wiring diagrams, assembly diagrams or BOMs. + Ability to read and work with technical drawings and electrical schematics. + Familiarity with operating in an ISO-9000 and Lean Manufacturing environment a plus. + Computer literacy is required.
