Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a manufacturing execution system solutions that track and document the transformation of raw materials into finished product, controlling inputs, operations, personnel, machines, and support services while meeting AS9100 Aerospace Standard requirements. This position supports the Operations team and reports to the Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, validate and support manufacturing execution system (MES) solutions using primarily Apriso Flexnet and IFS workbench software.Create machine and inspection tool integration solutions to improve the intelligence of new manufacturing equipment and inspection operations.Troubleshoot computer-controlled equipment.Create software documentation, provide training and support for the system end user.Design reports displaying manufacturing and inspection data using MS SQL or MS Reporting ServicesCollaborate with Manufacturing Systems Engineers at other EBA&D sites to standardize MES implementation.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Engineering or Computer ScienceMinimum of 2 years of experience with Javascript and SQL.Experience with Visual Basic, C#, Visual Studio is desirable.1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace and defense industry experience is preferred.Some experience with an ERP system (IFS preferred)General understanding of XML SchemasGood working knowledge of SQL and databasesExperience with PLCs is desirableAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with Engineering and Operations management.
