Our Manufacturing Systems Application Development Internship offers students hands-on, real-world experience within the company over an 10 - 12 week period. Overtime may be available. **What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities** + Working with a summer mentor learning different aspects of how the Manufacturing Systems/Operational Technology area works while getting hands-on, real world work experience. + Provide project management/leadership support and contribute to the execution of technology projects which deliver business value. + Will be able to interact with Senior leadership. + Will be able to travel to different company locations such as the Innovation Center, Perdue Learning University and Live Production Farms. **Minimum Education** + Must be a rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelors degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Information Systems, Information Technology, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, or related majors preferred. + Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher **Experience Requirements** + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software + Have strong communication skills, including written and verbal + Must be able to work independently or in teams + Must be able to demonstrate technical aptitude **Experience Preferred** + 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred + Completed at least 1 college-level project management course + Completed database management/SQL programming courses + Student extra-curricular experiences demonstrating leadership ability **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. + May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. + May need to access files, supplies and equipment. + Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. _Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
