Job Summary:
Manufacturing Technicians perform basic operations on products or parts to produce specific items for use in the medical device industry. They will work directly on the manufacturing floor performing various duties such as material handling, machine operating, deburring, packaging, assembly, and inspection of medical devices. The primary function of this position is to ensure the highest quality product is produced while meeting all established production goals.

Responsibilities:

Work under general supervision

Provide support to meet departmental goals by performing all required tasks

Adhere to policies and procedures

Maintain appropriate documentation

Apply problem solving skills

Use computer software programs

Comply with safety regulations

Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Perform good visual inspection on products

Train new employees as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to read/write documents

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to perform basic math

Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal instructions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Previous experience in medical device industry preferred

Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
