**ASnapshot of Your Day** In this role, you will assemble control panels or systems according to the technical drawings and specifications. You will use hand tools and power tools to fit and wire components together, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned, secured and wired, as required. Throughout the day, a controls assembler must maintain a focus on precision, safety, and teamwork. The role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, making it both challenging and rewarding. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + Ensures manufacturing Safety supporting Zero Harm Culture (ZHC) by following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. + Assembles control panels according to specifications and engineering drawings ensuring quality meets industry standards and customer requirements. + Communicates effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and resolves complex manufacturing problems. + Participates in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in control systems and assembly techniques. + Suggest improvements to assembly processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality. **What You Bring** + High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.An associate degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field can be beneficial. + At least 5 years’ experience with control systems, automation, or robotics. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. + Experience using power tools and assembly equipment and knowledge of using multimeters and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality. + Must demonstrate good safety and quality practices + Willingness to travel and support site installation of control assemblies during outage season with the supervision of site manager.
