Under the direction of the Supervisor of Special Projects Assembly, you will assist in the designing, laying out and detailing new developments or modifications to company lines of safety relief valves and line valve products!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Inspect, assemble, and perform production and/or engineering steam, air or water tests on various types of valves, including prototypes for special customer applications and engineering proficiency. Set up and perform engineering test on competitive valves and evaluate data. Perform product testing and test to ASME standards. Advise and assist Manufacturing, Sales, Specifications and other departments concerning technical aspects of the product. Recommend purchase of material or equipment for current projects. As warranted, travel to nuclear facilities to perform field service work as needed. Who You Are:You identify and build the processes vital to get work done. For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum of an Associates degree in Engineering, technical military experience, or equivalent work experience. The ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and situations, ensuring clear and efficient exchange of information. Highly engineered product experience. Ability to work on call, or travel to service client's needs. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience with safety relief valves and/or line valve products. Advance knowledge in Electrical Engineering. An understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe work environment for oneself and colleagues. Proven track record of working optimally both as part of a team and independently, adapting to the needs of the situation.
