Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to evaluate operations control processes and make improvement recommendations through CAD software and ERP/MRP systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that the company’s manufacturing processes comply with FDA regulations, coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, and perform shipping and receiving duties. Responsibilities + Evaluate operations control processes and recommend improvements through CAD software and ERP/MRP systems. + Ensure compliance with FDA regulations in all manufacturing processes. + Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer’s procedures and instructions to keep production equipment operational. + Perform shipping and receiving tasks. Essential Skills + Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field. + Proficiency in electrical testing and troubleshooting. + Experience with inventory control and supporting a manufacturing lab. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Nice to have a college degree. + Background in medical devices is a plus. + Experience with ERP/MRP systems is advantageous. + Proficiency in CAD software is a plus. + Experience in purchasing, shipping, and receiving is a nice to have. Work Environment This position is within a lab environment with manufacturing capabilities. All work is done on-site, and the team collaborates closely, working together five days a week. The company is a small start-up in the biotech space with 19 employees, offering the opportunity to wear multiple hats and learn various facets of the company. The main clients include research labs, universities, and hospitals.
