Manufacturing Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description Perform moderate to complex assembly functions utilizing mechanical skills, a variety of hand tools, and assembly fixtures. Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications. Assist in the training of less experienced team members. Fully adhere to established Quality System and understand GMP. Ensure complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed. Essential Skills + Electro-mechanical assembly + Prototype assembly + Reading blueprints + Manufacturing + Test engineering + Documentation + Quality systems + SAP + Document control + Medical device experience + Quality management system + Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-4 years of experience in the assembly of electromechanical or electropneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment. + Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions. + Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel. + Good communication skills. + Strong organizational skills; maintains orderly work cells and contributes to the professional presentation of the production area. Work Environment Work on the production/manufacturing floor of a company that focuses on designing and developing state-of-the-art innovative respiratory products. The company has been in business for 8 years and has 150 employees, with 30-35 in manufacturing. The team works across 3 production lines with several different stations where employees are cross-trained. Each station is equipped with a touch screen.
