Summary/Description
The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is looking for new talent to join the Harvest operation. Our team breaks down end-of-life medical equipment to extract vital parts that keep medical systems running in hospitals all around the world.
Responsibilities:
Work with a safety first mindset to keep self and other team members safeMaintain accurate records consistent with GE HealthCare’s good documentation practicesProvide evaluation and constructive feedback in the development of new and existing work instructionsProvide strong individual contributions to assist in the team’s overall successComplete all planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within defined deadlinesUse basic hand and power tools to disassemble a large variety of medical equipment while ensuring the safe handling of critical partsCleaning and inspection of mechanical and electrical componentsCross reference part numbers, schematics, and purchase specifications to ensure part complianceUtilize pallet jacks, lift carts, and other equipment to safely move heavy systems and partsContribute to the improvement and sustainment of departmental Lean and 5s goals
