Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will assist in both direct and indirect manufacturing support functions. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as thawing, blending, filling, staging, preparation, environmental monitoring (EM), and equipment preparation. You will perform standard operating procedures to meet current good manufacturing practices (GMP) and accurately complete required documentation to comply with federal regulations. Additionally, you will maintain product-related records and author SOPs and batch records as needed. Ensuring product quality and patient safety, you will be responsible for all aspects of aseptic manufacturing.

ResponsibilitiesAssist in direct manufacturing support functions such as thawing, blending, filling, staging, preparation, environmental monitoring (EM), and equipment preparation.Assist in indirect manufacturing support functions, such as cleaning and sanitization of the facility.Perform standard operating procedures to meet current good manufacturing practices (GMP).Accurately complete required documentation to comply with federal regulations and assist with batch-record close-out.Maintain product-related records as required.Author and review SOPs and batch records as needed.Ensure product quality and patient safety in the aseptic manufacturing of products.Prepare equipment and manufacturing components to be used in support of or manufacturing of the product.Operate basic equipment such as scales, balances, autoclaves, pH meters, and environmental monitoring equipment as delineated in standard operating procedures.Prepare and formulate special cleaners and solutions needed for cleaning or used in the manufacturing processes and support areas as specified by standard operating procedures.Carry out assignments in a timely, diligent, and safe manner to comply with domestic and international regulatory agencies (e.g., CFR, EMEA).Accurately complete documentation to comply with FDA and GCP/GLP/GMP regulations.Essential SkillsKnowledge of GMP and manufacturing processes.Experience in biology, filling, blending, cleaning, and sanitization.0-4 years of related experience or training in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.0-2 years of related experience or training with an associate degree and/or a four-year degree in science or life sciences field.Ability to perform standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsAcademic coursework in a related science field, applicable certifications, and/or practical relevant work experience.Clean room work experience, food, medical device, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing or aseptic processing and/or assembly experience.Environmental monitoring, pharmaceutical warehousing, and pharmaceutical packaging experience are acceptable.Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required.Relevant certifications and licenses are acceptable.Work Environment

Work shifts are available as follows:

1st shift: Monday-Friday 6 AM-2:30 PM,

2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2 PM-10:30 PM,

3rd shift: Sunday night-Friday morning 10 PM-6:30 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.15 - $33.00
