Job Description
The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, you will utilize your skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in assembly operations.
ResponsibilitiesExecute manufacturing solutions and provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy customer requirements.Apply process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to your role.Use appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how to support the full manufacturing processes, product requirements, and specifications.Execute responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and manufacturing processes.Provide support to direct production line operators.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitudeProficiency in SolidWorksStrong communication and people skillsExperience with roboticsAbility to work in cross-functional teamsEngineering knowledgeAdditional Skills & QualificationsA minimum of one (1) year completed of an Associate's degree or the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics, Manufacturing, or EngineeringOne (1) or more years of related experience is preferredMechanical inclinationWork Environment
This role offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with two openings on 1st shift (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM) and one opening on 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 1:30 AM). There is an additional $1.50/hour for shift differential. Overtime is sometimes required during busy times, approximately 1-2 times per month, where individuals would work the same hours on Friday and get paid 1.5x. This is communicated to the technician team at least 1.5 weeks in advance. The work environment includes a production floor for large industrial products, specifically working on Alpatronic EV Charging Stations. The site also manufactures parts for construction vehicles and electronic drinking water devices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
