**Job Title: Manufacturing Technician**
**Job Description**
Fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment; per associated flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training. Assist engineers in flight/prototype hardware manufacture, test infrastructure development, documentation of assembly, test procedures, and other specified tasks. Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance. Work with facilities and maintenance to ensure that production equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner. Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fabricate and validate critical flight hardware, including mechanical and electrical assemblies, and flight Ground Support Equipment according to flight drawings and procedures.
+ Assist engineers in manufacturing and testing prototype hardware and developing test infrastructure.
+ Document assembly and test procedures.
+ Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to optimize orders and ensure clear process instructions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with schematic reading and interpretation.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
+ Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
+ Ability to operate electrical and nonelectrical manufacturing equipment.
+ Skills in testing and troubleshooting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Barbara, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
