Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team onsite in Tualatin, OR. This role involves providing comprehensive support to manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime.Recommend solutions to manufacturing engineering and Test & Automation engineering teams to resolve equipment and process issues.Install, maintain, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment and components.Perform equipment calibrations and coordinate on/off-site calibrations.Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks.Maintain spare parts inventory.Document activities and maintain troubleshooting documentation regularly.Support and deploy digital smart factory tools in the facility.Promote and support lean manufacturing activities.Maintain and improve 5S in assigned areas.Promote a safety and quality-first culture.Regularly communicate with technical peers.Essential SkillsUnderstanding and practice of Lock Out Tag Out procedures.Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.Familiarity with basic microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors.Ability to work under pressure and make decisions based on stakeholder needs.Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.Ability to troubleshoot network, printer, driver, and software issues.Ability to read and update technical documentation and schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with C#/C++/Labview/NodRed programming is a plus.Familiarity with PLCs is a plus.2-year degree in electro-mechanical, electronic technology, or equivalent education.Minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field.Familiarity with standard recognized troubleshooting practices and National Electrical Codes.Ability to read mechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.Experience with manual assembly and building small electronic devices like thermostats and sensors.Strong computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot network connections and update communication ports.Mechanical understanding and familiarity with pneumatic and air systems.Work Environment
The role is based 100% onsite in Tualatin, OR. The technician will work with various manufacturing equipment, including some older test equipment from the 90s and current models. Responsibilities include troubleshooting at the component level, managing label printers, and ensuring electrical safety and compliance with National Electrical Codes. The work environment emphasizes safety and quality, with a focus on maintaining lean manufacturing practices and supporting a smart factory setup. Dress code and safety attire will be required as per facility guidelines.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00
