About the Role: We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will set-up, operate, and clean equipment in a clean concept manufacturing environment. Standard hours for this 3rd shift role is 11:00PM-7:30AM, Sunday-Friday with the option of four 10-hour shifts while business needs allow
This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits:
$19.00 - $31.00 per hour This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour). Minimum of 2 year’s manufacturing experience working in a team-oriented environment with quality system exposure Familiarity with quality control systemsDemonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, work overtime, and flex work schedule to meet business needs; adapt to changes in production schedule
Basic math and computer skills with ability to learn more advanced computer applications
Effective communication skills, verbal, and written communication skills while working independently and in a team environment
Proven attention to detail with ability to focus on primary commitments while managing multiple priorities
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated ability to learn and execute a detailed plan and follow processes & procedures
Ability to lift 35 pounds on a routine basis
Ability to pass visual acuity assessment
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience with MES systems (E1 or Compass)Prior experience with Lamination Equipment or experience working in a regulated industry
Demonstrated Continuous Improvement Experience
This role requires pre-hire medical clearance by Gore which may include testing to assess visual acuity and/or the ability to wear specific safety equipment as required during the performance of the role.
