This position plays a significant role in the company's manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Technician will operate production equipment and is responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products. This role involves identifying and documenting specification requirements for manufacturing equipment to meet production needs. Additionally, the technician will assist in planning and designing manufacturing processes for the production facility, aiming to maximize efficiency through the analysis of equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in the installation, commissioning, and qualification support of new equipment that manufactures medical devices.
+ Provide engineering support for daily manufacturing operations as needed.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and improve the performance of assembly equipment and test fixtures.
+ Document equipment specification requirements.
+ Work with engineers to create and execute factory acceptance test plans and site acceptance test plans for new equipment.
+ Execute equipment and process IQ/OQ/PQ, including drafting protocols and reports.
+ Review and collaborate with engineers to ensure that the company's manufacturing processes comply with FDA regulations and the company’s quality requirements.
+ Manage equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration services, ensuring procedures and instructions are followed to keep production equipment operational.
+ Conduct studies and testing to support research, design, and development of components, parts, or changes required by new or existing products.
+ Support Process Engineering with process improvements, new equipment development, and the transfer of equipment and processes to external contract manufacturers.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly and manufacturing processes.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing assembly equipment and test fixtures.
+ Ability to document equipment specification requirements.
+ Experience with installation, commissioning, and qualification support of manufacturing equipment.
+ Knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance requirements.
+ Ability to draft and execute equipment and process IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports.
+ Capability to manage equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration services.
+ Experience in conducting studies and testing for research and development purposes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to handle working with very small parts.
+ Experience in supporting process improvements and new equipment development.
+ Experience in transferring equipment and processes to external contract manufacturers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00
