Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment. You will work according to associated flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training. This role involves assisting engineers in the manufacture and testing of flight/prototype hardware, developing test infrastructure, and documenting assembly and test procedures. You will also identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance, collaborate with facilities and maintenance to ensure timely repair and maintenance of production equipment, and work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
ResponsibilitiesDocument assembly and test procedures and other specified tasks.Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.Collaborate with facilities and maintenance to ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired promptly.Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.Essential SkillsExperience with mechanical and electrical assembly.Ability to read and work from schematics, blueprints, and detailed procedures.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and air tools.Experience in testing and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating both electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment.Experience working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other commonly used chemicals in manufacturing.Ability to use crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, and other hand tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
