Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Job Description Actalent is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Technician, whom will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The role uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Additionally, the technician determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and works with engineers in conducting experiments. Responsibilities + Collaborate with engineers on setup and calibration tasks. + Perform rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. + Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data, making on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. + Determine and possibly assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. + Work with engineers to conduct experiments. Essential Skills + Proficiency in test procedures and test plans. + Experience with manufacturing processes and quality testing. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Engineering knowledge, particularly in mechanical and electrical domains. + Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Experience with test equipment and test equipment development. + Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers. + Knowledge of schematics and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience supporting strategic deterrence programs is a plus. Work Environment These technicians will support the Strategic Deterrence program and work a 9/80 schedule, where they get every other Friday off. The work environment includes sophisticated testing and calibration equipment, and adherence to GMP and SOP standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
