Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician - IG Packaging is responsible for executing all production processes while adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and other applicable regulations. This position involves hands-on execution of all activities in the production area under the general direction of the lead technician and the overall direction of the supervisor.
Responsibilities
+ Gowning and degowning for the Packaging area.
+ Visual inspection of empty vials for glass defects.
+ Visual inspection of empty vials for washout defects.
+ Operate pallet jack.
+ Operate shrink wrap.
+ Manually clean equipment and conveyors.
+ Load/unload materials onto conveyors.
+ Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills.
+ Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing.
+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma required.
+ 0-2 years of work experience.

Work Environment
This position requires shift, weekend, and holiday work. Must be able to work in a controlled, unclassified environment requiring special gowning. Protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body must be worn. No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, or artificial fingernails may be worn in the work environment. Possible exposure to cool/hot storage conditions, moving equipment, and chemicals such as alcohol. Inside working conditions. May be required to work or be assigned to a different shift as needed. Must be able to work more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours a workweek as required. Overtime may be required at times. Interaction with other people will be necessary. The pace may be fast, and job completion demands may be high. Physical exertion is considered medium work. May be required to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally. Repetitive gripping and grasping may be necessary. Extended periods of standing and visual inspection may be required. The position is for the 1st shift, M-F 7am to 3:30pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
