Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician

Job Description: 

Global Medical Device Electronics Manufacturer is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to perform moderate to complex assembly functions. This role requires mechanical skills, proficiency with a variety of hand tools, and the use of assembly fixtures. The technician will produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they meet product specifications, fully adhere to the established Quality System, and have a comprehensive understanding of GMP. Complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed is essential.

Responsibilities:

Perform moderate to complex assembly functions using mechanical skills and a variety of hand tools and assembly fixtures.Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to product specifications.Fully adhere to the established Quality System and understand GMP.Ensure complete documentation of all assembly and test processes performed.Read and interpret engineering drawings and follow assembly instructions and other company procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1-4 years’ experience in the assembly of electromechanical or electro-pneumatical systems or equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace manufacturing environment.Ability to use basic computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel.Strong organizational skills; maintain orderly work cells; contribute to the professional presentation of the production area.

Work Environment: 

Company focuses on the design, development, and provision of state-of-the-art innovative respiratory products. The company has been in business for 8 years and employs 150 people, including 50 in manufacturing and 35 technicians. The role will be on the production/manufacturing floor, which has 3 production lines with several different stations where employees are cross-trained. Each station has a touch screen. The work environment promotes a collaborative and family-oriented culture with a long-term opportunity for direct hire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00

10% Annual Bonus (base salary)- Salary, Exempt Status
3% Annual Bonus (base salary)- Hourly, Non-Exempt Status
Medical, Dental, and Vision (effective 1st of the month following start date)
401k Participation with up to 3% company match (eligible 30 days following start date)
