Manufacturing Technician
This position within Our client Manufacturing Group requires significant training and demonstrated expertise in one or more functional areas. The Production Technician will oversee the work of other team members and will be accountable for process results. Candidates must have extensive experience in the **pharmaceutical industry,** including aseptic filling processes and GMP compliance. **Job Tittle: Production Technician – Pharmaceutical Industry** **Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268** **Contract: 12 Months** **Schedule: Weekend Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)** **Qualifications & Requirements** **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus. **Experience:** + Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including aseptic filling. + Strong knowledge of GMP compliance policies and aseptic processes. + Experience in equipment cleaning, preparation, and assembly. + Prior experience in stopper preparation, capping, and packaging preferred. + Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate GMP documentation and SOPs in English. + Strong arithmetic skills for accurate product documentation calculations. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). + Leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor team members. + Must not have infectious diseases or open lesions on exposed surfaces due to work in open medicinal product manufacturing. **Key Responsibilities** + Demonstrate expertise in one or more functional areas, including: + Aseptic environments + Equipment and stopper preparation + Inspection (manual and semi-automated) + Packaging operations + Sanitization of classified areas + Operation of autoclaves **Oversight & Decision-Making** + Oversee manufacturing activities and lead team members. + Make independent decisions during processing while consulting management on critical issues. + Act as a group lead in the absence of a supervisor (excluding formal disciplinary actions). **Compliance & Documentation** + Maintain certification for entry into the Aseptic Core. + Coordinate with support teams for component issuance and in-process testing. + Conduct final batch record reviews and write investigation reports when needed. + Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records. + Manage inventory supplies and purchase orders. **Safety & Regulatory Compliance** + Handle hazardous waste as part of job duties and attend mandatory annual hazardous waste training. + Notify supervisor immediately if affected by an infectious disease or open lesions, as handling medicinal products under such conditions is strictly prohibited. **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
