Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up work areas, interpreting written and verbal work instructions, and utilizing detailed part and tool drawings. You will perform various operations, including assembly, balance, and riveting, while working to close tolerances on interrelated dimensions.

ResponsibilitiesSet up work areas to perform required operations for any assigned work scope.Obtain all necessary tools, fixtures, and relocation equipment to perform work.Follow established operational procedures for assembly, balance, riveting, and other functions.Work to close tolerances on interrelated dimensions.Examine work scope noting dimensions, tolerances, required tools, and operations.Determine the need for inspection to check fits, clearances, etc., prior to, during, and after assembly.Notify inspectors as required.Check work and record dimensions or characteristics as required.Operate manual and programmable riveters, pressure washing, and cleaning equipment.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, layout, and process worksheets.Experience working with a variety of tools and equipment such as lathes, drill presses, mills, riveters, presses, surface grinding, low speed balance, heating equipment, positioners, hand power tools.Assembly skillsProficiency with hand toolsGrinding and machining experienceElectrical assembly and troubleshootingProficiency in using calipers and gaugesBlueprint reading skillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentAdditional Skills & QualificationsWhy Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
