The Manufacturing Technician role is a 100% onsite position with a tentative shift schedule from 8am to 4pm, including weekend work (Saturday-Wednesday/Tuesday-Saturday/Sunday-Thursday). The primary focus will be on the cleaning and sanitization of the Libertyville Manufacturing Facility Warehouse and any other designated areas. The technician will be part of a select team performing these cleanings on a daily rotational basis according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and facility scheduling. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for proper Good Documentation Practices (GDP) documentation of these cleanings and for completing all necessary trainings to remain in compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Responsibilities
+ Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of facilities and equipment according to SOPs.
+ Assist in staging materials for manufacturing processes.
+ Execute proper cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, trash disposal, wiping equipment, and mopping walls, ceilings, and floors.
+ Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment.
+ Prepare cleaning/sanitization solutions and materials per SOP specifications.
+ Accurately document solution preparation and cleaning activities in logbooks in accordance with GDPs and company SOPs.
+ Learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior.
+ Work on routine manufacturing cleaning and sanitization assignments per written procedures, recognizing deviations from accepted practice.
+ Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
+ Complete work instructions and maintain a clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements.
+ Train for proficiency in process systems, such as Oracle interfaces and supporting business systems.
+ Assist in maintaining material and components inventory levels.
+ Support a safe work environment.
+ Receive, train on, and understand general instructions for routine work.
+ Work in teams and interact continually with team members and other manufacturing teams throughout the production process to exchange information regarding batches in process.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 0-2 years of cleaning experience.
+ 0-2 years of cleanroom experience.
+ 0-2 years of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) experience.
+ 0-2 years of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique.
+ Ability to demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior at all times.
+ Strong work ethic and high dependability.
+ Ability to adhere to assigned work schedule.
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite at the Libertyville Manufacturing Facility Warehouse. The work involves routine cleaning and sanitization assignments in a cleanroom environment. The technician will operate and maintain cleaning equipment and prepare cleaning solutions according to SOPs. The role requires adherence to GMP and GDP standards, and the ability to work on a rotational schedule that includes weekends. The team-based environment involves continual interaction with team members and other manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to support the production process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
