We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The role involves the fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment. You will assist engineers in hardware manufacture and test infrastructure development while adhering to quality standards and internal training.
ResponsibilitiesFabricate and validate critical flight hardware per associated flight drawings, procedures, and quality standards.Assist engineers in the manufacture of flight/prototype hardware and test infrastructure development.Document assembly and test procedures.Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.Work with facilities and maintenance to ensure timely repair and maintenance of production equipment.Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and understand process instructions.Essential SkillsProficiency in electro-mechanical assembly.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Experience with troubleshooting, production, and assembly.Proficiency in soldering.Current Solder, Harnessing/Crimping certification to J or NASA-Standards.Experience operating electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with hand tools such as crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.Experience working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other commonly used chemicals in manufacturing.Work Environment
This role operates in a clean room environment. Benefits include a 401k plan, vacation weeks immediately after signing, an 8% yearly bonus based on performance, and full benefits. Please note that holiday or vacation benefits are not offered for contract employees at any level.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
