**Job Title: Manufacturing Technician** **Job Description** We are looking to hire four mechanical assemblers on a contract-to-hire basis for four months. There is a good chance these positions can become long term based on attendance, performance, and attitude. Our client recently won a contract to build additional ground transportation equipment and their current team of assemblers (14 people) cannot fulfill this order while completing their current jobs. Applicants must have previous manufacturing experience, the ability to work with hand and power tools (drills, air compressors, rivet guns, sanders, buffers), and the ability to follow written instructions. **Responsibilities** + Work with hand and power tools to assemble products. + Follow written instructions and schematics to complete assembly tasks. + Ensure products are assembled in their entirety at individual workstations. + Maintain a team-focused mindset and assist where needed. + Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality. **Essential Skills** + At least one year of previous manufacturing experience. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to read and follow schematics/drawings. + Strong mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Team-focused mindset. + Strong attendance and punctuality. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small, family-oriented shop with benefits upon conversion. Dress code includes closed-toed shoes and general work attire. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Boise, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
