Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Support Technician to work 100% onsite in Tualatin, OR. The role involves supporting manufacturing equipment and involves working specifically with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment. You will be part of a team that promotes safety and quality first culture, supports lean manufacturing activities, and maintains a clean and organized workspace. The position requires regular documentation and communication with technical peers and may involve the use of digital smart factory tools.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime.Recommend solutions to manufacturing engineering and Test & Automation engineering teams to resolve equipment and process issues.Install, maintain, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment and components.Perform equipment calibrations and coordinate on/off-site calibrations.Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks.Maintain spare parts inventory.Document activities and maintain troubleshooting documentation regularly.Support and deploy digital smart factory tools in the facility.Promote and support lean manufacturing activities.Maintain and improve 5S in own areas.Promote a safety and quality-first culture.Communicate regularly with technical peers.Essential SkillsStrong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.Familiarity with basic microcomputer skills, including I/O and interfacing concepts, software interaction, applications, programming languages, and techniques.Ability to work under pressure and make decisions based on stakeholder needs.Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.Ability to troubleshoot network, printer, driver, and software issues.Ability to read and update technical documentation and schematics.Understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with C#/C++/Labview/NodRed programming.Familiarity with PLC's.2-year degree in electro-mechanical, electronic technology, or equivalent education AND a minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field without Associates degree.Familiarity with standard recognized troubleshooting practices and the National Electrical Codes.Ability to read mechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $33.00/hr.
