Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and driven Manufacturing Technician II to join our world-class team in the United States. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will demonstrate exceptional work behaviors in building sophisticated scientific instruments to support our production goals. Shift Information

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities

Test the final assembly build of instruments to ensure they meet all quality standards.Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Preferred Experience

1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience with mechanical assembly, various hand tools, and computers preferred.Proven track record as a Production Technician preferred.

Physical Requirements

May require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
