With revenues exceeding $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we provide our employees with the resources and chances to create significant impacts in the world. **Position Objective** Our Santa Clara site is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Technician with expertise in system level assembly, integration, setup, testing, and sophisticated fixing of automated control systems while maintaining/exceeding the quality standards. Strong technical background, manufacturing process oriented with the ability to participate effectively in multidisciplinary teams to address problems in manufacturing environment are crucial. Experience in highly customized fast paced manufacturing environment is a plus. **What will you do** Build and Functional Verification testing of automated control systems and sensors. Assembling, cabling, programming controllers and debugging automated bio-reactor systems based on Emerson DeltaV platform. Assembling, modifying and debugging major subsystems. TruLogic (Delta V) assembly and testing. Modifying, upgrading debugging Control Towers. Programming transmitters and controller options. Building cables, hoses etc. as needed. Building, testing and modifying Mass Flow Controller assemblies. Stage systems for integration and testing. Support Production Planning on Work Order requirements, parts issued, etc. Support Engineering and new product introduction activities as required. Redline/correct released drawings and documents. System teardown and preparation for the Final Quality Assurance inspection process. Become a domain expert, supporting system level fixing and the group's training activities. Perform In-process Quality Control Inspections on system configurations, BOM, controller layout and wiring schematics, product travelers and workmanship standards. Additional assemblies, testing and job-related duties as the need arises. Familiar in working in structured Agile/SCRUM/Safe projects. **Minimum Qualifications** High School diploma or equivalent required. Two years in a manufacturing technician role. Computer proficiency especially with MS suite. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. 6S manufacturing experience. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with Agile. AS degree, relevant trade school diploma. Advanced Technical Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biology, or related Military Training. 2-3 years of proven experience in manufacturing required. **Physical/Environmental requirements** Physical Activities include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Level of Visual Acuity, Inspection, Close Assembly, transcription, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, operation of machines, using measurement devices, assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eye. **This position does not have relocation assistance** **Compensation and Benefits** The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $19.32–$32.50. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
