Manufacturing Technician - Optical Subassembly (R0261924)

Role: Full Time
Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week

Due to demand we’re looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Glasgow to Support us in the manufacturing process and test of multiple military based products.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Optical alignment and construction of optical subassembliesComplex optical bonding using a mixture of optical adhesivesOptical handing and cleaningAnalysis of optical components using interferometers etc.Calibration of optical subassemblies and toolingWork in multi-disciplinary teams
About you
A good understanding of general physicsGood practical and experimental skillsInquisitiveness – ability to question results and then answer those questionsSelf-motivated and capable of working alone and within teamsGood written and oral communication skills to allow effective communication with peers, and both technical and non-technical customers.
