For our Engineering team, we are looking for a Manufacturing Technology Expert to help us drive Electrification & Automation Business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You’ll make an impact by

Cost structure analysis to find potential of cost reduction from current design concept including material and manufacturing process.Drive x-function to study new manufacturing technology base on current design and promote for production release, finally to optimization products cost level.Organize x-function to issue or upgrade working instruction including manufacturing equipment selection, verification and optimization.Technical support internally for manufacturing technology assessment of new design, quality gate of technology implementation at production line.Team development, regular share / train / develop team member knowledge and competence

Your defining qualities

Good knowledge & experience in mechanical manufacturing process ig. Welding, Cutting, casting, milling, bending, forging etc.Good knowledge & experience in manufacturing technology of switchgear, cabinet or other similar products is preferred.Cost origination mindset, be able to generate innovative idea either process optimization or equipment upgrade to improve manufacturing efficiency.Better to have project management experience.Working experiences deep in manufacturing technology >= 5 yrs Engineer functionEnglish working ability
