This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Job Purpose
Perform all required verification and reliability testing and prepare test reports for new products and products under development. Perform customer verification and acceptance tests for new products. Develop automated verification test routines using LabView.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interface with project engineers, engineering management, and production management to develop verification test plans and requirement specifications for new products under development Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Develop automated tests using LabView Troubleshoot technical issues that come up during verification and reliability testing of new products Conduct and document verification and reliability tests to ensure new products meet or exceed design specifications Document and release verification test reports for internal and external Perform root cause analysis of product failures and recommend corrective actions or improvements to the engineering design team Qualify new firmware releases for products Participate in appropriate continuous improvement teams Review manufacturing, test, and product documentation/equipment to ensure that it meets quality objectives for our manufacturing process and customer expectations Identify and compile data necessary to analyze product/process performance and make recommendations for necessary improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related 2-4 years experience in electrical engineering and/or reliability engineering Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment Familiarity with UL, and CSA regulatory requirements General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
