Key job responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer intern, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the development and future of the AME Manufacturing Test team. You are data and metric driven, and obsessively concerned about performance under resource constrained environments. In this role you innovate and solve problems of high ambiguity and high impact. You will drive design choices, trade-offs, priorities and timelines. You will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and technical expertise to drive and influence manufacturing test development and execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to multiple simultaneous product development efforts. You’ll strive for simplicity, and demonstrate significant creativity and high judgment.
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer at Amazon you’ll be expected to:
• Serve as a test lead on our demanding, cross-functional projects with significant bottom-line impact.
• Ensure the quality and execution of our manufacturing test systems
• Proactively communicate technical information and status to broad, cross-functional teams
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
• Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations
• Develop test plans and test-setup prototypes for new technologies
