Manufacturing Training Specialist Job Category Manufacturing Market Location MD - Thurmont Manufacturing Location MD - Thurmont Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg01/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=NVRINC&cws=52&rid=34181) The Manufacturing Training Specialist will be responsible to develop, update, and maintain business process and training documentation for Manufacturing technology solutions. This position will work with Manufacturing leaders and experts, IT, and plant implementation teams to develop standard Manufacturing process documents for new system solutions. The Manufacturing Training Specialist will analyze, test, and ensure that all processes are covered from end to end and applies to all Manufacturing plants. This position will be responsible for creating and delivering training content to multiple levels of the organization and will provide ongoing updates to content for future enhancements. This role is located in our Thurmont, MD plant. The initial focus of this role will be the conversion to a Microsoft D365 MRP system for all Manufacturing plants. Primary Responsibilities + Participate in new system implementation process workshops, team meetings, and end-user focus groups to review and validate processes, identify gaps, and ensure an understanding of identified process changes. + Partner with project leads, Business Analysts, subject matter experts, end user stakeholders across functional areas, to identify and capture training and documentation requirements. + Develop comprehensive standard operational procedures (SOPs), which capture full end to end processes and cover all Manufacturing plants. + Collaborate cross functionally with Manufacturing technical teams and Business Analysts during system testing, to assess and optimize documentation for new processes. + Design and develop the most effective means of training, utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of the process and different learning styles and platforms. + Develop and manage training plans including training formats, learning objectives, assigned trainers, and coordination of delivery to each business area. + Communicate and rollout completed training packages, SOP documents, and job aids to each business area; reinforce SOPs and system best practices. + Deliver training to internal end users, in person and online. + Monitor adoption of SOPs and system best practices post-implementation. Continuously improve and enhance training and SOP documents and maintain process documentation and training libraries. + Develop documentation and training resources for future system enhancements and add-ons and deliver training throughout the plants.
