Marine Audit Manager
Job Description About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Audit to lead their Quality and Regulatory audit programs across their fleet. Reporting to the Director of HSSQE, this role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, fostering quality, and upholding the highest standards in safety and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee internal and external audits for vessels and shore-side operations. Develop and execute Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for findings from internal audits. Conduct internal audits and pre-audits to prepare vessel crews for external reviews. Act as the liaison with Classification Societies and the U.S. Coast Guard to maintain compliance. Support the company’s drive toward Goal Zero, adhering to Health, Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental (HSSQE) policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to align marine standards with business strategies. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marine fields or equivalent technical and educational experience. Experience: Minimum 5 years in Safety Management, including audit programs (internal/external). Skills: Expertise in ISM, ISPS, MTSA, and ISO 9001 compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Exceptional communication and documentation skills. Additional Requirements: Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Willingness to travel, climb ladders, navigate uneven surfaces, and inspect confined spaces. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Nautical Systems software. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and manage group problem-solving scenarios. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. In-depth knowledge of HSSQE, risk analysis, emergency response, and international maritime regulations. What We’re Looking For:
