Position summary: JMT is seeking a seasoned Marine Construction Quality Control Manager to be responsible for managing new construction and renovation of reinforced concrete wharfs or pier structures on a federal project in Annapolis, MD.
Annual compensation for this position is $124,800.00 - $166,400.00; commensurate with experience, education and certifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors Manage and coordinate the quality control program in accordance with contract documents and specifications Coordinate project schedule from inception to close out with general contractor’s team Implement and manage the document management process and implement the required reporting processes of NAVFAC specifications and contractor’s QC Program Oversee, provide direct reporting of all site activities Document daily activities, verify pre-activity meetings are being scheduled and document results. Run project job-site meetings Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, report any and all shortcomings or deficiencies proactively to the client on-site Review and approve contractor monthly requisitions and invoices Efficient change order management and cost control Report on project issues and provide status updates Perform other duties as may be required
