**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring skilled **Marine Electricians** for projects located in and around **Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to **$32/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Assure tank/compartment has updated safe for hot work ticket & requirements of ticket have been met + Ensure ventilation lighting safety equipment + Assure conditions of tank/compartment have not changed since ticket was written + Assure that work authorization form WAF ticket is on the job site and it is for the specific job being completed + Work on forklift, welding, brazing, special electrical/mechanical repairs, etc. + Maintain quality control at all times + Assure that a 20 minute cool down period has been completed in hot work areas + Assure safety and cleanliness of work area + Troubleshoot electrical test with proper technical documentation, basic circuits including lighting, receptacles, sound powered telephone, & ventilation + Other tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + Must be a US Citizen + Must have OSHA 10 Maritime & Firewatch Certification + Must be able to pass background check & Drug Screen + Must be available to work any shift as needed + Must be familiar with EPISM & follow requirements + Must be familiar with and follow procedures of work packages + Must be able to perform both a standard item 00916 and a 00936 + Must be able to read Blueprints + Must be able to identify unnecessary cost & keep them at a minimum + Must be able to distinguish color code phasing + Must have reliable attendance **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
