We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join a major LNG project in Houston, TX, for a 6-month contract
role with strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in marine
engineering within LNG projects and owner/operator environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise on marine systems and operations for LNG facilities.
• Conduct design reviews, inspections, and troubleshooting of marine equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and innovative solutions.
• Support vessel operations, maintenance, and upgrade projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in marine engineering, with significant LNG and owner/operator exposure.
• Familiarity with applicable standards and codes (e.g., IMO, ABS, USCG).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
