The Marine Services Application Engineer will lead technical proposal development for services offering to Marine segment customers, including modernizations/upgrades/preventive/corrective maintenance, training, and parts. The Marine Services Application Engineer will review customer technical requirements and apply GE Vernova Power Conversion solutions to ensure an optimized customer experience

Roles and Responsibilities

Marine Services Application Engineer maintains responsibility for the Power Conversion Marine Services solutions portfolio and leads development of technical solutions, proposals in support the sales.   Lead engineering and project teams to develop accurate technical proposals and cost estimates for services solutions drawing on the Power Conversion Marine portfolioManage in key areas across the Power Conversion Marine Segment; including solutions for the propulsion, power management, controls and automation, dynamic positioning. And asset performance monitoring.Leads the GE commercial technical risk process & all aspects of the Inquiry to Order processWork with sourcing to develop 3rd party industrial partners to enhance growth opportunities and leverage win-win technology partnerships. Support customer meetings with technical product differentiators.Work to optimize technical solutions, enhance margins.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent technical degreeMinimum 8 years of work technical experience (experience in the Controls & Automation or Power Conversion fields)

The base pay range for this position is $92-130k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on April 1st, 2025. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
